Where to see Disney Characters at Disneyland® Paris
Meeting your favourite Disney Characters at Disneyland® Paris is one of the most memorable experiences you can have, especially for little ones looking up at their role models!
The Disneyland® Paris Parks are enormous, so if you don’t know where to start then we’re going to break down the best spots for finding different characters so you can have that magical encounter you’ve been dreaming of!
The Disneyland® Paris App & weekly schedule
Once you arrive at the magical gates of the park, there are plenty of guides and resources to help you find your way around. Make sure you download the Disneyland® Paris App before you arrive as this will keep you updated with live character encounter times and locations for the day. You can also pick up a park guide from the entrance when you arrive, which will have the schedule printed.
Standard meet & greets don’t require booking, just show up and when it’s your turn you can grab a photo, a hug, and an unforgettable interaction!
Certain characters at Disneyland® Paris are in the parks all the time if you know where to look! Just a few of these include:
–
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
Mickey and Minnie are two beloved characters that will never be far away while you’re in the Disney Parks! Mickey’s permanent meet & greet location is in Fantasyland at the Mickey & The Magician show. After the show, guests are invited backstage to snap a photo and a cuddle with Mickey, and he might even share some of his magician’s secrets!
Classic Disney characters like Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and more can be easily located throughout the parks as they’re always out and about. Be sure to check that weekly park schedule or any planned opportunities!
Character Dining and Hotels
A guaranteed and unforgettable way to meet your favourite characters is to dine with them! Enjoy breakfast at Plaza Gardens and you’ll be joined by the likes of Pinocchio, Geppetto, Tigger, Rabbit, Captain Hook, Mr Smee, and occasionally Donald and Daisy Duck! Character Dining experiences are very popular, so make sure you book well in advance! Check out our guide to when and how to book Character Dining.
Are you staying at a Disneyland® Paris on-site hotel? You may have access to exclusive Character Experiences! At Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, you can book a Heroic Encounter at the Super Hero Station in advance, during your visit via the Disneyland® Paris app, or at the Hotel’s Reception.
Mickey Mouse and friends stop by Disney Newport Bay, Disney Sequoia Lodge, and Disney Hotel Sante Fe every morning to greet guests and take selfies! Start your day with a magical meeting by heading to the hotel lobby and finding those familiar faces waiting for you each day.
There is a brand new Character Dining experience at the Disneyland® Hotel where you can eat breakfast with the Princesses! Find out more about Disney Princesses at Disneyland® Paris in our Where to see Disney Princesses Guide.
Meet and Greet Spots
Avengers Campus is the go to spot to meet Earth’s mightiest heroes! Permanent guests include Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and Ironman, however there are frequent surprise guests so check the schedule and keep an eye out! There is a chance to meet Star-Lord and Gamora during the Guardians of the Galaxy Dance Challenge show which occurs multiple times throughout the day.
The Heroic Encounter experience inside the campus usually has a surprise Avenger waiting to recruit you, with anyone from Falcon to Ant-Man! For exclusive meetings with heroes, join the virtual queue for Hero Training Centre via the app and strike your best hero pose with whichever Avenger is on duty!
There is a great Star Wars encounter opportunity at Starport in Discoveryland where Darth Vader patrols the area, so join the dark side and snap a photo! But not to fear, Star Wars heroes are never far away, and surprise characters will occasionally show up and save the day!
Pixar fans will want to head to Worlds of Pixar in the Walt Disney Studios® Park for a magical encounter. Regular guests include favourite characters from Toy Story, Cars, Finding Nemo, Monsters. Inc., and many more surprises! They tend to stay in this area so you’ll always know where to find them.
Seasonal Characters
Certain characters will only visit the park when it’s their time to shine! If you visit during Disney Halloween Festival, expect to see some of the infamous villains of classic Disney films such as Cruella, Maleficent, The Evil Queen, The Ugly Stepsisters, and more! They’ll be causing chaos throughout the park, and are also a part of the daily Halloween parade.
Character Parades
The iconic Disney Parades are a great way to see lots of characters in one place, and they happen every day so you won’t miss it! Catch the daily Disney Stars on Parade, which is a star-studded show where you’re guaranteed to see some beloved characters and can give them a wave atop their floats. Characters vary but expect to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pixar Characters, and lots of other classic Disney Characters.
Throughout the year, parades change with the season so expect different characters, for Christmas, Halloween, New Year, and Pride!

Make sure you preserve those magical character encounters by snapping the perfect photo! We can add on Photo Pass when you book, and you’ll get to keep every photo taken around the parks from Character encounters to on-ride photos!
