Disneyland® Paris 2 Park Tickets and Multi-Day Tickets explained
A big decision when booking a trip to Disneyland® Paris is thinking about how many days you will need in the parks to enjoy the full experience. How much is there to do? How do the two different parks compare? How do you ensure the best value for money?
We’re here to help you decide what’s best for your family!
1 Day Tickets vs Multi Day Tickets
To take in everything there is to see and do at Disneyland® Paris you will need to spend more than one day in the parks. It’s almost impossible to see and do absolutely everything during your visit as there is just so much to fit in. That’s what we love about Disneyland® Paris – you can have a completely unique experience every day you visit each park!
However, if you have been before, or if your visit is a part of a wider trip to France, then you can still have a huge amount of fun in a short space of time. In one day you can experience that Disney magic, check out a parade and test out some of your preferred rides and attractions. The important thing here will be in the planning!
Using the Disneyland® Paris app to check our queue times on a 1 day trip will be essential in order to make the most of your time (check out our 1 day itinerary here).
1 Day / 1 Park
1 Day / 2 Park
Which park and ticket should I choose if I visit for 1 day?
Each park has it’s own character meetings, shows and attractions to experience. Both parks have huge amounts of fun on offer for fans of all ages, including a range of attractions for both thrill seekers and those who prefer things a bit calmer.
In Disneyland® Park head up Main Street USA and take a photo on front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, then experience classic attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain, and it’s a small world.. At closing time don’t miss the epic end of day illuminations.
MARVEL fans will not want to miss the awesome Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios® Park, which features character meet and greets in the Hero Training Centre alongside the fantastic Spider-man W.E.B Adventure, which the whole family will love. Thrill seekers won’t want to miss the Hollywood Tower of Terror, or Crush’s Coaster.
Walt Disney Studios® Park closes earlier than the Disneyland® Park, therefore, spending a little extra to purchase a 1 day/ 2 park ticket will enable you to spend the most amount of time at Disneyland® Paris. You will also benefit from ‘hopping’ between the 2 parks to catch the most popular parades and make the most of shorter queue times at certain times of the day. The Park entrances are right next to each making the freedom of moving between park easy!
Multi-Day Tickets
As there’s so much to keep you entertained, we always recommend visiting for more than one day – especially if it’s your first Disneyland® Paris trip. Everything will be new, and you’ll want to take it in at a more relaxed pace. Having more time in the parks will allow you to enjoy character meet and greets, take in the awesome décor that’s themed to match the time of year alongside the huge variety of shows and attractions on offer.
When thinking about how your time will be spent in the parks it’s worth remembering that queuing, dining and shopping are all a part of the day and will use up a considerable amount of park time.
As expected, the Imagineers have made queuing as fun as possible and consider the queue areas a part of the ride experience! If you choose a character dining experience this will take 1.5-2 hours of your time and any food break will likely take 30 mins-1hour.
Purchasing Multi-Day tickets enable you to hop between both parks, meaning you can maximise your schedule to catch the parades and shows in each park whilst also taking advantage of any shorter queue times.
