The Future of the Disneyland® Paris Parks
The future of Disneyland® Paris is looking bright, with lots of exciting announcements recently made and some of their most ambitious projects currently in the works you’ll want to know what’s coming up and when! Especially with the big plans they have for 2025/2026.

Disney Adventure World
Earlier in 2024, Disney made the huge announcement that they would be transforming and extending Walt Disney Studios Park with exciting new attractions, zones, and rides, and this announcement also can with a name change – Disney Adventure World!
The park which is already home to many beloved attractions such as Marvel Avengers Campus will be welcoming new rides attractions, and restaurants based on some of Disney’s most beloved franchises!
Some of the new features announced so far that we have to look forward to are Adventure Bay – a 360 entertainment zone situated around a lake, gardens dedicated to beloved characters, and a brand new restaurant – The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
Disney imagineers are hard at work making magic happen with this exciting extension of what is already a magical place to explore, we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for Disney Adventure World! Stay tuned for updates.
World of Frozen
Perhaps the most highly anticipated attraction in the future of Disneyland® Paris, World of Frozen is set to open in 2026 and it’s opening will mark the name change for Disney Adventure World!
World of Frozen will allow guests to experience a recreation of Arrendale, complete with immersive shopping and dining experiences, the opportunity to meet Anna and Elsa, and lots more surprises in the works! Plus, the beloved Frozen Ever After ride which is currently found in Walt Disney World Florida and Hong Kong Disneyland will be making its way to Paris with it’s own version of the ride.
The stunning North Mountain seen in the films will be a breath-taking view as you step into Arrendale and soak up the magical atmosphere.
The Lion King themed land
One of Disney’s most beloved franchises is finally getting its moment at Disneyland® Paris, and it’s more than the fans could ever have imagined! Its name is yet to be revealed, but here’s what we do know about this exciting project so far.
The immersive themed area will take guests on a journey through the African savanna and allow them to experience the adventures of Simba and friends like never before! The iconic Pride Rock will sit at the entrance creating a gateway into the world of The Lion King, and as you step into an adventure-filled water paradise you’ll be greeted by familiar faces and stories from the classic animated film.
Within this extra-special land, you’ll be able to encounter characters to meet & greet, experience immersive dining options, shopping opportunities, and a new family water ride with state-of-the-art animatronics and an outside flume drop! If all that isn’t enough to get you excited, take a look at the concept art below!
A new Tangled themed ride
One of the attractions we’re most excited for in the brand-new Adventure Bay is a Tangled themed family ride!
It will sit along the new promenade, taking you for a spin through the stunning floating lanterns scene in the beloved film. Check out the breath-taking concept art below which shows guests spinning as they watch the floating lanterns gleam!
Not much has been revealed yet about this exciting addition to the park, but keep an eye on this page for more details!
All-new nighttime spectacular
Mark your calendars for early 2025 because a brand new nighttime spectacular is coming to the Disneyland® Park!
A core memory for every Disneyland® Paris guest is the nighttime shows displayed at Sleeping Beauty Castle. The projections, the fireworks, the drones, the music, and of course the magical atmosphere make it one of the most popular attractions there.
This new version of the show will push the boundaries of technology like never before, immersing guests in favourite stories, characters, scenes, and music. Plus, for the first time ever, Main Street U.S.A.® which leads up to the castle will be involved in the show! Even more treasured tales will be brought to life on the street as it serves as an immersive backdrop to the display.
We can’t wait to see how Disney push technological boundaries to bring us this new experience!
New nighttime show on the lake
As part of the brand-new Adventure Bay zone in Disney Adventure World, the lake that the attractions surround will have its own water-based entertainment!
The giant lake will host an innovative new show using the latest technology to bring guests closer than ever to the magic. Water, drones, lights, and sound will bring beloved characters and tales to life in a new and exciting way with this ambitious way of storytelling, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store!
This will be an enormous addition to the park, and completely different to anything they’ve done before featuring new characters, songs, and incredible light & water displays that will blow-minds.
