If you’re looking for the best way to get to Disneyland® Paris, we’ve outlined all the options and a guide on pricing to help you find the right option for your family and budget.

Transport options and costs for Disneyland® Paris

Are you considering the best way to get to Disneyland® Paris? Discover the many transport options and guide prices below.

Choose between driving, flying, Eurostar, or coach. Each have their own benefits or limitations, but with a range of options to suit different needs joining the magic has never been easier!

Self Drive

With Disneyland® Paris just a 3-hour drive from Calais, a great option for added convenience is to make the journey in the comfort of your own car and take in some of the glorious French countryside en route.  There are so many benefits to driving, we’re not surprised that it’s a favourite choice for families of all ages.

Here are our ferry and Eurotunnel options:

Ferry

P&O Ferry from Dover to Calais (takes around 90 minutes) is the cheapest way to cross the Channel (especially when our free ferry offers are running). Crossings usually cost around £100 for a return.

There are plenty of distractions onboard for both adults and children. Kids can watch on-board videos or burn off excess energy in the play area, and grown-ups can make the most of the reduced high street shopping prices in one of the well-stocked shops! Two operators – DFDS and P&O Ferries – offer 15 – 20+ crossings a day, along with a night service.

Le Shuttle

(Also known as Eurotunnel) from Folkestone to Calais (takes around 35 minutes). Slightly more expensive than a ferry crossing but is the quicker option. This usually adds around £50-£60 each way compared to ferry.

You’ll go through British and French customs before you board then drive onto the train and relax in the comfort of your own car for the 35-minute journey. There are up to 4 shuttles per hour at peak times, or you can opt to make the crossing at night.

Make sure you tell us if you are travelling in a larger vehicle like a van/motorhome or if you are taking a roofbox or trailer etc, so we book you in a larger vehicle space!

Flights

Prefer to leave the car at home and take to the skies? Here are the various flight options! Approximately 1hr – 2hr flight times depending on departure airport. Flights available from:

London Gatwick (LGW), London Heathrow (LHR), London Luton (LTN), London City (LCY), London Southend (SEN), Manchester (MAN), Belfast International (BFS), Birmingham (BHX), Bristol (BRS), Edinburgh (EDI), Glasgow (GLA), Liverpool John Lennon (LPL)

easyJet. Fares include Small Under Seat Cabin Bags as standard, with the possibility to add checked bags at an additional cost.

British Airways. Fares include 1x Checked Bag per person excluding infants.

Air France. Fares include 1x Checked Bag per person excluding infants.

Transfers are not included and will need to be booked directly with Magical Shuttle. Full flight cost will be payable at the time of booking as part of the deposit and is non-refundable. Prices will vary depending on flight times and departure airport, but we will always try to pick the best times to allow the most time in Disneyland® Paris when we quote. Infants do not get a seat and travel on parent’s lap – if you do want a seat for them, just let us know and we’d be happy to price for this.

Eurostar

A simple, smart, and speedy option is the Eurostar. Prices range from £200 – £300 per person for a return. Takes around 3 – 4 hours in total each way including the change of trains.

Departs from London St. Pancras International, and travels to Disneyland® Paris via Lille Europe where there’s a quick and simple change of train and platform to travel on the French High Speed Rail Service (SNCF) between Lille and Disneyland® Paris. Disney does have allocation on certain trains in advance before they go on general sale with Eurostar.

Prices include 1x Suitcase per person.

Add Disney Express Luggage for £18pp and when you arrive at Disneyland® Paris Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, go straight to the Disney Express counter on the first floor to drop off your luggage and receive your advance hotel check-in documents (including your Park Tickets). You can then head straight to the Parks, while your luggage is taken safely to your hotel. When it’s time to say goodbye, simply drop-off your luggage at your Hotel’s Concierge Desk before 11:00 am and it will be transferred directly to the station, so you can spend the whole day exploring the Disney Parks. You will need to pick your luggage up from the Disney Express counter in the station at least 40 minutes prior to your train’s departure.

Please note, children under 4 do not get a seat and sit on their parent’s lap – if you’d like to add a seat for any child under 4, please let us know so we can price for this.

Some Partner/Selected hotels are also available via Disney as a package as well:

Adagio Marne-La-Vallée Val d’Europe, B&B Hotel at Disneyland Paris, Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe, Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-La-Vallée, Campanile Val De France, Explorers Fabulous Hotels Group.

Off-site hotels are available with Eurostar and flights as a package (more airlines and departures routes are available with these) and we can also book Ferry and Le Shuttle for you, but this will be separate to the hotel bookings. And we can include Park Tickets for your preferred duration (between 1 – 4 days).

Amazing stay at Disney Hotel Cheyenne for my daughter’s 7th birthday. Staying at an on-site hotel was wonderful! Walking into the park and back each day…no having to pay for taxis or even queuing for shuttles! Hotel Cheyenne was a great Wild West theme – my daughter dressed as Jessie, met her in the reception then had a real horse ride!
