The selection of unique activities taking place across the resort are not to be missed, from a horse-drawn carriage ride to boat rentals, a break from the busy parks you’ll certainly be occupied at this resort. The dining options are excellent, with beautiful scenery and delicious food in the restaurants and bars and six different kiosks around the site for quick bites. The kids will have a fun-filled time splashing around in the Ol’ Man Island themed pool which features an enormous waterslide and a whirlpool, additionally, there are five pools and a kids’ water play area for a more tranquil experience.

• Extra Magic Time. Get access into the Disney® Parks 30-minutes before the public and beat the queues. 
• Movies. Free Disney® movie screenings under the stars at the resort. 

• Dog Friendly. Furry friends don’t need to miss out on the fun, dogs are welcome to stay with you at the resort. 
• Easy Transport. Regular shuttle services run to all the Disney® Parks from the resort. 
• Dining & Bars. There is a food court, a dining hall and two vibrant bars so you’re sorted for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments.  
• French Quarter. A short stroll or taxi journey will get you to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter with a whole other world to explore.  
• Activities. Don’t miss fabulous activities at the resort like fishing, bike hire, horse-drawn carriage rides, kayaking, pedalos, and boat hire.

The Riverside Mill Food Court provides delicious Southern Louisiana style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine in with five different food stations from grill to pizza or grab a quick bite from the grab ‘n’ go area. Another option is the Boatwright’s Dining Hall which has a beautiful view of the river, a casual cosy atmosphere and an amazing dinner menu. There are two unique bars on-site for some unwind time and refreshments, either in a comfortable lounge or at the poolside. All restaurants and bars at Disney Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter are also open to guests, so you’re spoilt for choice here.

• 90-minute couch journey from Melbourne Orlando Airport. 
• Parking is free for guests of the resort if you decide to self-drive. 

Regular rooms with either a wood view or a river view can accommodate up to four people, you can upgrade these to a Preferred Room for a more convenient location within the resort. For groups over four, 5th Sleeper rooms are available which include two queen-sized beds and a child-size pull-down bed.  

Royal Guest Rooms with get you a luxurious experience with two queen size beds, more space, beautiful décor including fibre optic fireworks display on the headboard and a choice of standard, river, and woods views.
